The Municipal Departments section provides an overview of the various departments within the Endumeni Municipality, each responsible for different functions and services that support the community. By understanding the structure and services of the municipal departments, residents can better navigate local governance and access the resources available to them. 

Our Municipal functions are covered by various business units that operate seamlessly and are coordinated to address the most pertinent service delivery issues plaguing our people today. The aim is for residents to gain access to detailed information about each department, including its role, key services offered, and contact information. 

Municipal Manager

The Constitution and Municipal Structures Act requires that every Council elects a Chairperson, who is called The Speaker.

Community Services

The Community Services Department is responsible for providing prompt response to community needs and provision of service to the benefit of the community.

Finance Unit

The Department of Finance is responsible for providing efficient and effective financial administration of the Municipal finances.

Corporate Services

The Corporate Services Department is responsible for providing effective and efficient high standard administration and support.

Technical Services

The Technical Services Unit aspires to be a value-adding department in providing basic service delivery.

Planning and Economic Development

The goal of the Directorate of Development Planning and Local Economic Development is to provide strategic direction to the municipality.
